Dante Nazzaro

Dante Nazzaro is a singer/songwriter from southern NH. Dante writes heartfelt songs about his experience with depression, anxiety, getting bullied, suicidal thoughts and overcoming his Mom's sudden passing. Dante hopes that his music helps just one person overcome any thoughts of depression or suicidal thoughts. Dante's style is influenced by the music his late Mom had him and his brother listen to growing up: late 90's and early 2000's Country and Christian music. Along with his Rock music of the 80's and 90's his Dad listened to.
"Dante Nazzaro is a local indie Rock singer songwriter from Salem, NH, who takes the experiences in his life and turns them into songs. Dante writes about his experience being bullied, contemplating suicide and then being able to pull out of the dark and make music from the pain that he hopes will help others, by letting them know that people aren't alone. Dante's lyrics will keep you engaged and make you feel. The music will make you want to move and rock out."
Dante started his "music career" in a church youth band, where he started as the piano player and then evolved into the lead singer. Dante's youth band also consisted of his now long time best friend of 14 yrs and drummer Kevin and also best friend of almost 20 years and now co-writer, co-producer and Audio engineer Taylor. Together the 3 of them having been playing music together and been best friends since 2010. All three have worked together on the newest EP Death to Life and were members of the former Right Hand Shade Christian band. Dante a co-founding member of the band with Matt Jones brought in both Taylor and Kevin and were able to continue their friendship and music career through the band.
Dante has been playing piano and singing since he was 7 and guitar since he was 14. He writes his songs as poems mostly and then through hard work makes them into the beautiful and hard to swallow pill of overcoming depression.
